Outfit your AR-15 with a true Mil-Spec diameter 6-position collapsible stock tube from UTG. Precision machined from 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum, this buffer tube is hard anodized with a matte black Mil-Spec Type II finish and features rolled threads and very tight tolerances for a zero-gap fit with collapsible stocks.

Designed for use with any standard AR-15 lower and a Mil-Spec diameter collapsible stock (not included). Made in the USA.

No problems with threads. A little Tetra Lube and it all came together with no problems. Did notice a very slight cant to the left.

For the price I wasn't expecting much from it, but it's still good for now. The threads are slightly off leaving a bit of a gap on the castle nut and the groove that keeps the 6 position holes straight was misaligned so it cants to the left side a bit. But I just had to hold it in place and just tighten it which fixed the problem.

First is the shipping. As usual, incredibly fast. Second is the product. The locking tab on retainer plate actually stripped the threads off of the tube while trying to tighten it, exactly why I had to buy a new tube in the first place. Also, I'm not sure if it was the stock or the tube but my Tapco stock wobbles more than Bernie Mac on this buffer tube. Overall, it's pretty good.

Although it is UTG, this thing is actually pretty well made. Not only were the threads well cut, but the finish is great too. Works well on both my AR as well as the ACE "AK to AR adapter" and "Pig nose Adapter." At this price, it's a great deal.

Either the threads on my lower are out of spec or the threads on this are out of spec, and considering two of my other buffer tubes fit in this lower with no problem, I'm guessing it's this. I did get it in eventually, but not until after marring the finish, due to the excessive force required to get this all the way in.

Absolutely perfect on my AR-15, GREAT fit, great finish. Built lots of ARs, and was very hesitant toward Leapers until I read reviews on here, and gave it a go. VERY good fit on my VLTOR Emod stock!! Mil-Spec. Nice and snug, NO SLOP, never had a buffer tube without slop! Awesome. Couldn't be happier!!

Thanks CTD for the superfast shipping once again. Excellent service. This was my 1st AR build and from the other reviews, I decided to take a chance. Well, I was not only NOT disappointed, I was very much pleased with the quality and the "LOCK-UP" , and completely perfect fit it had with the Magpul CTR stock. I got the mil-spec model and it is incredibly sold when used with the stock. Very much impressed. The color is not solid black but more dark grey, but I like the contrast. The etched "Made in the USA," was a nice touch as well. This buffer tube in my opinion is better than some complete AR's that I've bought. Good job UTG!!!

This buffer tube fits perfectly.Took up all the slack that was present in my previous military contract tube, now my moe stock has a nice snug fit, and the MADE IN USA laser etch is awesome.

Had my doubts about this due too price...Sooo cheap so what do I have to loose? Got the product and was impressed with the quality and finish. This replaced my old commercial buffer tube on my Olympic Arms CAR 15. Fit is perfect and used the same spring, buffer and lock nut. Had a little trouble with the back plate due to the threads on the tube but after a little wiggling, all is good. Installed my VLTOR stock and it was a perfect fit. I'm sure on the range I won't be disappointed. A nice upgrade overall. Get rid of your comm tube and get UTG mil spec tube!

Just installed this on my Bushmaster 7.62 carbine. Easy install and works great with my Magpul MOE stock. Once I put a few hundred rounds through it I'm sure I will bump up to 5 bullets. Like others have said...watch those springs!

A little bit sceptical at first but took a chance on buying this. After getting the product, installed my magpul moe and fits like a champ. Tried my magpul ACS too and fits as advertised. Also has laser etched marking "Made in USA" on both sides, which is a plus. Definitely best bargain.

Very good tube. Tight - no wobble. Perfect fit. No more non mil-spec for me. I threw the "commerical-spec" tube in the trash where it belongs. Will buy more of these, quite a bargin. Another nice Leaper's product.

I ordered this for my AR that I picked up last year. Who ever had it before me put a really nice Mil-Spec VLTOR enhanced modstock on it but left the commercial buffer tube on it. Ordered it early Monday morning and arrived on Tuesday afternoon easy to put on and works great. Thinking about ordering another for a back up but don’t think I will ever need it. Great product.

I bought this for a SBR project with a Sig P556 and it worked awesome. It is very high quality and fit just perfect. Also customer service was awesome. I accidentally clicked the order button twice so the CTD customer service called me to ask if I meant to order 2 of the same thing before they shipped it.
