Item made in China, will not work on my rifle without modification. Unfortunately, I ordered it from the catalog by number where it does not state that it was made in a foreign country. It is inexpensive, so I didn't waste too much money, but I am disappointed that CTD even offers inferior products that do not fit.

Whatever kind of pot metal this made that out of should never hit the shelf as an AR-15 part. Anyone who would spend 800 - 2000 dollars on a weapon isn't going to want to have some of the small tweaks break off in their hand the first time they are running it as a combat weapon. I run my battle weapons like they should be. This is on a high end AR-15 used like it should be. The full use of this charging handle would be the left handed slap charge. Did this when simulating stove pipe jams and showing how to clear and go back to firing with out unshouldering your weapon, and when I did, the thing snapped off and went flying across the room. As useful as it is, I would not recommend this part or any other part from this manufacture to put on a water gun, for no other reason than the crapped put on the metal. This need to be a milled piece and pay 5 more dollars for it.

Tight fit. Not bad, but I had to file down the catching edge because it was much longer than the stock DPMS I replaced. It was so long that it would not close all the way forward because it could not swing back any further. Was pushed all the way back against inner portion of charging handle. A little shaving down and it works great.
