Been trying several of these off angle mounting devices. This one looked like it might do the job. The others kept loosing their grip during firing. Don't worry about this one. It rattles back and forth and side to side when cranked down. Chinese specifications strike again! And this one has the gaul to be called GUNTEC USA. Save your money; still looking for a good one. PS, the sight wouldn't tighten up on top either. UPDATE: I decided to quit whining and see what could be done. I went to Lowe's and bought an assortment of plumbing o-rings, cut one of them and laid it inside the mount closure against the quad rail and cranked it down. Did the same thing for the sight mount on top of it. Appears to be solid as a rock, but not yet range tested. Hopeful.
