The plastic coating on it stripped right off when I tried to remove my hand guards. It wouldn't grip hard enough to pull the ring all the way down and I ended up bending it before I got them off. Don't hold out when buying one of these tools. Use your money for a higher quality item and you'll be happer than I am right now.

IF you buy this tool I highly recommend you also either wrap the tool in electrical tape or have what you need to touch up the delta ring as the vinyl coating comes off extremely easy. I had to bend my tool to make it tight enough to not slip and had to use the tape to prevent the vinyl from peeling and scratching my delta ring again.

This tool is a POS. Covering came off just attempting to apply pressure. If you have duct tape that would solve the issue, but get something with better quality.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TOOL!!!!! It will scratch your weapon more than likely during the first use. It's a pain because you have to squeeze the prongs together just to fit to the Delta Ring and the tool will not grip well... If you do buy it, use a rag or something the first time to save your rifle from scratches!

Works, but doesn't fit as well as it should.. coating comes off quick, scratches rifle,, as recommended, use a towel.. would recommend a better made model..
