All AR-15 Conversion come in a hard, fitted case with one 10 round magazine, easy to install in seconds. Drops into the receiver in place of the bolt and aligns with your barrel's bore, very accurate, not permanent and No special permits required to own. Complete with one 10 Round magazine. Will not work in left hand models. Can be used with piston uppers but piston must be removed.

I bought this only because I didn't want to shoot my .233/5.56 ammo. All I can say is that it worked great. No FTF or FTE using Remington Golden Saber HPs. I also got the BDM 50 round drum and it ran great as well.

Gun: S&W M&P15 Sport. .22 rounds shot: over 1000. Initial impression: lots of jams. My wife and I became quickly skilled at dealing with various jams. Only sort of fun at this point. Finally, I got sick of this and did some Google work and learned that the top of the Ciener mag can contact the bottom of the bolt. Did some filing on the top of the back side of the feed lips (follow me?) and now the kit runs 100%. Can't get it to jam, no matter how fast the trigger is pulled. I shoot CCI Mini Mags, Winchester M-22, and Federal Bulk pack without any issues.

I purchased this with great anticipation. However, when I insert it, my piston upper keeps it from fully closing. I now see in the description above that uppers with pistons will need to have them removed. Ain't gonna happen. Bummer that I have to return it.

Excellent product. Have only had it for one week but already put 400 rounds through it. Have only had 2 failures (fail to eject) while using Winchester bulk pack. Federal bulk pack worked fine every time. It's the best deal on California compliant .22 conversion kits (10 round magazine limit). CMMG's California compliant version is basically the same thing but costs more. The only downside is that the mag it comes with looks funny. I'd recommend getting some black dog magazines for aesthetics but also because their followers extend beyond the feed lips giving you a "last shot hold open" effect. (Helps keep you from accidentally firing on an empty chamber). They work and are only a little over $10 shipped.

Got this the other day via CTD, put it in my AR-15, made sure the mag fit and that I could feed the rounds correctly. It did with out any issues. Then I oiled it up and put the mag in and pulled the trigger. Every round went down range without any issues! I was using the federal 550 round pack supersonic amo.
