Used up a full case (250 rds) of this one afternoon havin' fun. Worked great through a variety of pumps including original Win97, Win M12 riot, Stevens 520. Win 1300, Moss 500, Savage riot and Rem 870. And a variety of shooters including 220lb teens, 50 year old woman, 105lb female, and assorted middle age guys. Cycled flawlessly, destroyed everything in its path, and kept everyone coming back as fast as they could reload. Buying another 2 cases for next weekend!

I didn't measure them as others state they have issues with the sizing. I put them in a Mossberg 500 and they cycle and fire just fine. Still the best price I can find for 00 even after shipping.

Shells measure 2 3/4" not sure what other people are using to measure. Could not see anything come out of barrel except target being smashed. Great self defense rounds as I don't think anything would survive one round. Low kick as well. Fed great through 12 gauge pump. Shot 100 rounds in one sitting and had no problems and has a great pattern.

I bought a case of this and love it. I wouldn't necessarily use it as my defense round, though. And YES, it is LOW recoil...That is, it is much lower compared to what I'm used to which is Federal 3" 00 buck magnum. It is also not as loud. I've used this in my Kel-Tec KSG without a single hangup. Two things to note: 1) YES, it does in fact load like a 3" shell. So, don't think you are going to be able to squeeze in an extra round into the tube. 2) The pattern is just hair bit more scattered than I would have liked. Overall it serves its purpose great and I will definitely be buying another case.

These shoot fine but are a tad longer than 2.75" and will not fit in a MD arms drum for Saiga 12.

This ammo is good for the money. Very low recoil and very low velocity. I swear you can see can see the pellets flying in the right light. It cycles decently in my Super Black Eagle and does well in pumps. You really have to cycle it hard though. Would not recommend it for hunting, due to its inconsistent patterns, but it's a blast to shoot.

Good ammo, more like 3" in length. Cycles perfectly fine in my Mossberg 88. Gotta rack it like a man though. If half-shucked, it'll hang up.

Kicked like a mule!! If this is low recoil, I don't want to shoot the regular loads. Only had one issue with these feeding in my Mossberg 500 and both of the shells were from the same box. I think FedEx was a little rough on them because they were a little out of round.

I ordered these last Wednesday and received them yesterday (Saturday). Definitely impressed with the speedy CTD delivery. I haven't had a chance to take them out and experience them yet, but I can definitely confirm (seems to be some conflicting reports on the 'net) that they are just slightly longer than the standard 2-3/4" load. I have both Remington #6 bird and 00 buck on hand, and these are just a tad bit longer. In fact, the Rem 00 buck is just ever so slightly longer than the #6 bird. However, I can potentially see the RIO resulting in less mag capacity. Otherwise, great looking round at a great price, with good reviews from pretty much everyone who has shot it.

Ordered a case on Saturday, received shipment on Tuesday. Great delivery time. This is my second order of bulk ammo from CTD and have my ordered fill and delivered in two to three days. Very happy with CTD service. The order was professionally packed and shipped. Ammo is new and boxed just like at my local Cabela's, but at a better price. Even with tax and shipping, it's still a deal. The shells are slightly longer, by 1/4 inch. I can put four in my gun instead of five, but they cycle just fine. Can't wait to go to the range. I'm ready for the Zombies. Would highly recommend buying from CTD.

Ammo does not cycle correctly in my Mossberg 500. It gets hung up on the extractor and does not eject. I have tried using other brands of ammo and it cycles fine.

Completely satisfied. These rounds deliver as advertised. I have shot up half the case already. My concern was the low recoil claim, but it's true. Actually hits softer than standard target rounds and the shot pattern destroys at 10 yards. Ordering my next case soon.

Ordered my shells Friday evening and received them Saturday afternoon! That ain't fast, that's incredible! As for those guys gripping about the length of the shells - GET REAL! Vegas is correct, they are 2-1/2 inches long, not 2-3/4 - 3" like some have posted. To find out if it made a difference, I loaded a stock Springfield Mod. 67 with four in the mag and one in the pipe! I believe that's what it's supposed to hold, isn't it? I only gave the shells 4 bullets because I haven't had a chance to shoot any yet.

I received my case of Rio Royal buckshot shells and I'm just as impressed with them now as the first time I bought them a year ago. I do have one complaint though; not about the shells, but about the other reviewers. Some have stated that they are longer than 2-3/4 inches. Well I'm sorry, but they're not. They are longer than standard target rounds, of which I have many thousand (I shoot a lot of trap), and also reload shotshells. The target rounds are 2-1/4 inches long, with the Rio Royal Shotshells being 2-1/2 inches long. You see, I actually measured them with a tape measure. So if you need to get more shells into your shotgun magazine, either get a longer magazine tube or shoot minis. Thank you, CTD, for selling such quality products. I will be buying more of these by the case. SUPER FAST SHIPPING, ALSO. Kudos to you, CTD.

It was worth the money. The shots pattern very well at 7 yards (Mossberg auto-loader). Hunting? No. Home defense? Yes. The plastic case is longer than 2-3/4", but I think that's because the load is nearly completely sealed. I dunked one of them underwater for about twenty minutes, dried it, and it fired without a hitch. Completely waterproof? Probably not. Still a great buy for the price. This was part of my first order from CTD and it was processed and delivered within a week. Very happy.

What a deal. I ordered one evening and it was here the next day. Shoots great in my Saiga with five round mag. I see the problem with the longer shells, but in the stock mag, it worked fine. Good pattern and I would buy again when I shoot these up.

What a deal on 00 Buck Shot! These shells shoot great!! Excellent quality!!! It came in five round boxes, 50 boxes all together, very well packed in a box. I shot about 40 rounds of it and it had a consistent spread pattern and clean powder burn. I didn’t suffer any misfires or ejection problems. Very low recoil as advertised. Be aware though, as the other reviewer mentioned, the box says 2-3/4", but it is more like a 3". I suspect it has something to do with cm vs inches since they’re manufactured in Spain. It's not a big deal for me, because my Mossberg 500 is able to shoot 3" shells, but I wouldn’t recommend these shells if your shotgun isn't chambered for 3" shells. Very fast shipping; got here two days later from Texas to Colorado. This is the best value that I have been able to find…ANYWHERE!!!!! Thank you CTD! Keep up the good work!

What a deal on 00 buck shot! I haven't shot it yet, but don't expect any problems. Here is my only gripe: the box says it's 2-3/4", but it is more like a 3". It is 1/4" longer than the 2-3/4" target stuff I shoot. It's not a big deal for me, because my Mossberg is able to shoot 3" shells, but if your shotgun isn't chambered for 3" shells, I don't recommend this stuff. I can only fit seven rounds in my 590 and I can get eight 2-3/4" normally. If I need more than seven 00 buck shells to get myself out of a home defense situation, I'm probably screwed anyway
