This ammunition comes from the Tula Cartridge works in Russia. This is high-quality ammunition. It is steel cased, Berdan-primed, Bimetal jacket (copper over steel) full metal jacket, non corrosive and non-reloadable. Muzzle velocity is 2800 fps. This ammo has polymer coated steel cases. Simply put, this is some of the best ammo on the market today at a great price.

Inexpensive ammo for an inexpensive rifle.....Used this to sight in my new Mossberg 100 ATR 308 winchester.....very pleased with its accuracy! Its not what you shoot, but how you shoot it! Shooters make the shots, not the ammo!

Bought some of this when it was on sale. Shot a box through my match M1A and a couple boxes through my SOCOM16; No FTF or FTEs, seemed a bit "hot". Accuracy out of my M1A was about 3-4 MOA with 5 round groups/iron sights at 50 yards but that only says that that gun didn't like it. No complaints from an action shooting match. Was told later that it made a big fireball out the end of the SOCOM16. Functions fine, accuracy rates with milsurp I suppose, and nice not having to worry about picking up the brass. Good price when it was on sale, but at regular price I can get reloadable brass case for only a little bit more elsewhere.

Purchased one thousand rounds of these, and am slowly working my way through the lot. So far not a single FTE or FTF, and the powder burns surprisingly well! At 100 yards I was able to shoot a 10-shot 2-inch grouping through an M14. I actually prefer these rounds to American Eagle (cheap brass) which had given me problems before in the past.

1. Wouldn't use it in a hunting rifle. It's hard steel cased and won't conform as well to the chamber. It is sealed up well to resist moisture, but also has hard primers that a bolt/hunting rifle might not like. 2. Great for any military styled rifle. Open sights at 100 yards with a Cetme, I had 2-4 inch groups. Depending as much on me and the sights as anything else. Performs great for the cost. 300 rounds only one stove pipe, one primer so hard it actually took a second hit. The one stove pipe may have been a crap milsurp aluminum mag as it's been known to give issues. The one ftf could have been a bolt not fully closed, it was during very rapid fire. Works well, shoots well, groups well. It's not match grade ammo for 7$ a box. It's good practice ammo, it's fun to shoot, it hits in the same area as my 150 grain and 174 grain Federal brass stuff does (give or take 2 inches). This makes practice affordable. For that purpose, or in any real "battle" situation it's accurate to man sized targets as far as my eye will see with open sights. Don't expect to win competition with it, but you can trust it to fire and cycle consistently in guns made to shoot hard primer steel ammo.
