5.0 Rating Great For Me - 8/11/2012.308 Winchester BVAC FMJ 150 Grain 20 Round Box 2801 fps Bi-metal Jacket M80 Projectile5.0000

I'm with Hump. In general, I have had positive experiences with the BVAC ammo in several calibers (10mm new brass, .40 cal once fired brass, .40 frangible, and this basic .308 FMJ ammo). It could be that this is their cheapest line of .308, so maybe it's not consistent and I got lucky with this particular batch. However, their ammo in general is DEFINITELY and CONSISTENTLY a solid performer for me in the grand sum of my exposure to it.
4.0 Rating MADE in the USA and ACCURATE! - 4/14/2012.308 Winchester BVAC FMJ 150 Grain 20 Round Box 2801 fps Bi-metal Jacket M80 Projectile4.0000

I have seen many reviews here for BVAC that tell a negative story of their ammo. As for me, I have nothing but good things to say about this ammo. Made in the USA, which is most important to me. Extremely accurate, 1/2" groups from 100 to 250 yards. My wife was even busting the bulls eye out at 150 yards, round after round, with her Tikka T3 Light. Yes they are a bit dirty, but if you have ever done much shooting at all, the performance of the product, in my opinion, is most important. Besides, I shoot my weapon on a regular basis, which means I clean my weapon on a regular basis. I found a box of these that we had forgotten about in my truck for about two years and they still shot perfectly. I recommend them to anyone!!

Not really accurate or all that clean, but for the money, you can't ask for much more. I was getting groups between 1 moa and 1.5 moa with my FNAR. No failures of any sort. Each round fired and cycled the rifle as it should.
1.0 Rating BVAC Ammo - 6/18/2010.308 Winchester BVAC FMJ 150 Grain 20 Round Box 2801 fps Bi-metal Jacket M80 Projectile1.0000

Well I took it to the range, and my surprise was that the bullet was bi-metal! Where does it say this in the desciption of the item. Now what am I going to do with this ammo if I can't use it at the range? Don't buy this junk your better off waiting for the PMC 308 ammo, which is a much better deal!
4.0 Rating Good ammo for the money - 4/3/2010.308 Winchester BVAC FMJ 150 Grain 20 Round Box 2801 fps Bi-metal Jacket M80 Projectile4.0000

This is an amendment to a previous post giving this ammo a 2 out of 5. I took my AR-10s to a gunsmith, and it was discovered that one of them had a gas block misalignment. The other needed to have the feed ramps and chamber polished. The ammo now works fine and is fairly accurate with a 10x Elite 3200 tactical getting sub 2" groups with standard triggers at 100 yards. I hope everyone understands my lower rating on the previous post with two similar weapons having problems, I assumed it was the ammo. I'd buy this ammo again for most target and plinking applications.
