This is a great ammo at an unbelievable price. I expected it to be a "you get what you pay for" type of deal, with unclean brass, underpowered, iffy bullets, etc. Boy was I wrong. The rounds are clean brass with copper plated hollow points, conveniently packed into boxes of 5 rounds for the standard 5-shot X-Frame (the outer box contains 4 smaller internal boxes for the total of 20 rounds). When shot out of the 10.5" SW 500, they clocked at 1795 fps, even though they are rated at 1700 fps. This is a longer-than-standard barrel so it contributed to the higher velocity, but the fact remains that this is an honest, full power load. If the bullet performs the way I believe it does, this ammo is a steal.

I bought the .500 S&W rifle and was looking for a good brand of cheaper shells. I got 2 boxes to try out. I already had bought 2 boxes of Magtech 325gr and was shooting the Magtechs open sights at 200yds. These did exactly the same but cost half as much. I used them deer hunting this year and was impressed. I shot 4 deer and they went straight down. I will stay with them for sure and would recommend them any day. Thanks CTD for them (only problem is supply)

Bought 20 Boxes, Great stuff. You cannot beat the price. Get it while it lasts. Goes out of stock all the time and Im sure it will go up. You will not find a cheaper price on the web. (I looked.) Shoots perfect, I have shot about 100 rds so far and have had no problems.

Really good stuff and a good price. Nice reloadable brass. Very happy with the 1st batch and had to wait but finally got some more today. Thanks CTD and please keep this stuff in stock as I will order some more.

A few month back I picked up a few boxes of ther BVAC 350gr .500 ammunition from CTD. I was impressed with the quality and the great price from Cheaper Than Dirt. I have 2 Smith & Wesson .500's a 4" and a 6.5". The ammo was clean and quite accurate. After a couple rear sight adjustments it was hitting in a 3" to 4" circle at 75 feet, and taking out 1 gallon water jugs at well over 100 feet from a table rest. The recoil is managable but really firm, and it burns really clean. For the price and the fast shipping from Cheaper Than Dirt you can't go wrong. The wait for them to come back in stock is worth it, and when they do I will be back for more, hope it is soon. Thanks to BVAC and CTD for a great product!
