I am in law enforcement and there are only 2 brands I trust for my "duty" weapon, Speer Gold Dot, and Golden Saber. I love these and I would..... I do... bet my life on them as do many, many other police officers across the nation. Gold Dot will always be my first choice, but there is no question that this is a good quality ammo and it is the only substitute I will ever use. Right now I don't even have any Gold Dot because it is in such low supply and I am on back order with a expected date about a year out.... so this is all I use until Gold Dot returns. Just received 500 rounds from CTD and as always I am pleased with the speed of the delivery as well as the quality of the product.

In my Colt 1911 carry, the bullets backed into the case after about 2 months in the mags. They were replaced by Corbon with another box. Not trusting these (as well as being curious), I decided to fire the box. I had 3 jams (20 shots) in a weapon that never does. I have fired Winchester, Fiocchi, Remington, Federal, PMC and other ammo in the same weapon and never had a problem. I now carry Remington Golden Sabre +P exclusively as I trust them. You be the judge.

Shot 100 rounds through my new pps---not 1 failure, which is the most important factor to me. A bullet won't do its job if it dose not hit the target..

I was testing this along with other bonded ammunitions for a carry load in my G27. I was not as impressed considering what I paid for it. The expansion was okay with the petals just about perpendicular to the shank, but didnt expanded as fully as the traditional Golden Sabers (read non-bonded) do. I shot it into a 14" block of gelatin made according to weight (90% H2O/10% gelatin), and it only penetrated to 11 inches. Most of the other bonded loads that I have tested have penetrated deeply with most completely passing through my 14" block of gel, and into a water filled jug that I use as a catch for pass throughs. If I had known that they didn't penetrate deep enough, I would not have spent the money for them.
