I did some "backyard ballistics" using about two feet of wet cardboard/newspaper, and the rounds performed flawlessly - creating an ideal mushroom. But when I placed two hoodies and a pair of jeans in front of the paper (what one might expect an assailant to wear during cold weather) the recovered bullets didn't expand at all. Not one bit! Many of them didn't even look deformed. Not a bad ammo choice if you live in a nudist colony, but for everyone else you might want to consider something less expensive; I don't think it lives up to the hype.

I have a Glock 21 and this is the only ammo I will use. Reliable, accurate, and no muzzle flash make for great ammo. And Cheaper Than Dirt has it at a great price. Highly recommended.

I have always been happy with purchases from Cheaper Than Dirt before, but this one soured me. I have a sig 220 with three factory mags. I ordered 4 boxes of this ammo and the rounds are slightly longer than normal rounds so they will hang up in a Sig 220 clip when feeding. I fooled with this ammo for an hour trying to get it to load smoothly let alone feed into gun. DO NOT BUY if you have a Sig 220. Maybe I got 4 bad boxes. No matter. Cheaper will not take it back once you buy it so you better make sure. I would suggest going to your local gun store to buy whatever you need and try to to save a few dollars IF you think your life might depend on the service capability of the rounds.

i own a glock 21 sf and have tried numerous rounds threw it. i for personal defense this is the ammo you want, other bullets don't even compare. highly accurate and more powerful a must if you own a .45

Far and wide the best defensive carry ammunition available. It is the most effective design for an already powerful round and is extremely reliable to boot. If I could rate this product at six bullets I most certainly would. Highly recommended.

This round is the best round that I have ever chosen to use in my Personal Defense Carry Weapon(s). I conducted testing on some wooden logs at various distances (10-21 ft.) to see what this round would do. I have to tell you it did just as I wanted. It remained accurate within approx. .75-1.25" with different Pistols. Also, It provided awesome stopping power (almost all of the rounds stayed in the log). While I have never had to use them for Personal Defense and pray I don't have to. I am 100% Confident that with Firearm(s) I carry chambered for this round, that it will provide me with the best Overall Accuracy, Stopping Power, and Reliability.
