The 45 acp and the 10mm ammo from the same manufacture is not bad but the 38 special is terrible! My throat was so sore from breathing in the smoke from just 20 rounds I had to stop. Not to mention the black cloud every time I pulled the trigger. I will have to get rid of it somehow. I will never buy it again, seems like American Eagle is in the same price range. Brian

I bought this ammo for training in a S&W Bodyguard 38. The revolver is always cleaned after each trip to the range. This ammo causes so much fouling that I have to put CLP Break-Free on the cylinder axis rod while at the range due to the cylinder jamming on the axis rod. I have had the cylinder spin axis jam up repeatedly due to fouling of the spin axis rod. The combination of the snub-nose and this amunition causes unreliability. I have even had to return the revolver to S&W for repair because of the fouling. If you go for this cheap filthy ammunition be forwarned. I have also had 5 misfires out of the box of 500 rounds.

Very smokey, very dirty but cheep. No misfires and accurate. If you do not mind it's negatives it is good practice ammo.

Yes these are dirty and smokey, but they really shoot great in my Ruger Single Action, consistant and accurate.

This is excellent ammo for bulk. I bought this for an 1851 Navy conversion. No misfires, no smoke, very accurate. I will definitely be buying more of this ammo. CTD always has the best bulk ammo for the best price.
