This is the best deal on 357Mag I've seen! I bought 5 boxes and shot 5 boxes with ZERO problems. Load up with 6 rounds of really expensive hollow points for home defense, but take 6 BOXES of Bitterroot to the range for practice. Goes bang every time.

For the price, this ammo is not worth it. I had no malfunctions whatsoever but this ammo is freaking filthy. After 18 rounds out of a 50 round box my stainless model 65 looked like I had put about 200 rounds through it. I'm the kind of guy who cleans my weapons after every trip to the range, but this stuff had me putting 3 times the effort in it. Simply put...not worth it!

This ammo is great, mainly because of the price. I haven't seen any jacketed rounds for the .357 or .44mag, only SWC. I would suggest buying Blazer or American Eagle before Bitterroot Valley because the price is nearly the same. Also, Blazer and American Eagle shoot alot more accurately, using their jacketed rounds. At 25yards using the Blazer (non reloadable, polymer coated alumminum heat treated casings) I was holding a 3 inch group, with the Bitterroot It wasnt even hitting the 8inch diameter target. It doesn't burn too dirty, never missfired out of all 250 rounds, just very inconsistent accuracy. It is good for shooting waterjugs and melons camping, but at the range your target will make you look like youve never picked up a handgun before.

I have sent a hundred of these through my SP 101. No malfunction and accuracy is very good, but I spent more time cleaning my gun than shooting it(not an exaggeration). They are cheap, but not that cheap. At savings of about 4 cents a round it's just not worth it. And did I mention the smoke?

I picked up a couple of boxes of these for target practice. They are cheap and go bang when you pull the trigger but they sure are dirty. I had to clean my Taurus 605 pretty extensively after a box. But for the price these are some solid bullets.
