When we shot with the Canadians, they brought their own ammo for their weapons and they fired 62gr. because of their rate of twist compared to our A-1s at the time. I don't believe it is the same as our green tip from Lake City but I could be wrong. Anyway, I wish I would have bought more, as it works great in my M4.

Ran 25 rounds of this ammo through my AR-15. All rounds fed, fired and ejected. The bullet tips are not painted green but I believe they are penetrators because they are attracted to a magnet. The bubble packs protect the ammo and open easily. They are perforated in groups of 5. If this ammo becomes available again, buy some!

Although this ammo does not have a green painted tip on the bullets, I believe it is penetrator ammo because the bullets are attracted to a magnet. This would seem to indicate they have a steel core of some kind. I ran 25 rounds through my Rock River AR-15 with no problems whatsoever.
