I'll say it again and again - this is very good to excellent ammo, considering it's not brass. Face it people - the Russians are selling us affordable ammo and this TulAmmo is no exception, along with the Wolf and Bear brands. I hate it when most people you talk to automatically say the Russian stuff is junky, dirty, etc. For the price, you can't beat it - hands down - and it works. I own two Ruger Mini-14s; a pre-ban (yes I'm from California) and a later model that eats this ammo up all day long, with several thousands of rounds thru each of them. Check out TulAmmo's web site and you will see an independent study/test performed with steel and brass products. I won't go into details; just see for yourself. No, I don't work for CTD or TulAmmo. I just want to tell you what I know and think of not only the TulAmmo, but all the affordable Russian ammo that is available today. Our country needs to make us some more affordable ammo. The only reason I didn't give it 5 bales ( means bullets) is because of the steel casings, but then again, it can always be recycled. Does not prematurely wear out your firearm, including your pistols. I also buy and shoot 9mm and .45 ACP steel thru my Glocks and a Sig.

Ordered these because of the price. Meant to order the FMJ but ordered JHP instead. I've shot the FMJ before with no issues. I'm happy to say I didn't waste my money on these. They functioned just as well as the FMJ. I've had one bad primer in about 1,000 rounds. I can live with that for the price. It's gone up since I've ordered, which sucks, but I will definitely will be ordering more of these. The price is too good to pass up. Very fun to shoot into milk jugs full of water. =)

The expedient delivery of my product was completely awesome. It was at my door the very next day. Very, very nice. Now comes the true test. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much. Ran 200 rounds through my bushmaster and she loved it. I didn't get one miss fire and she cycled perfectly. No jams. Wow. Accuracy was good and on target; just couldn't reproduce consistently. Could be me. Fact of the matter is, for the price, I couldn't ask for more. It performed the same as, if not better than, other more expensive rounds.

I bought 20 boxes of this stuff a while back, and shot all of them (400 rounds) with no problems. So, I ordered 500 more and shot about 150, still with no problems. This is all out of my Spike's Tactical AR-15, and it has the Slide Fire stock on it. No problems at all on "full auto." I just ordered 500 more for my AK-47. I only give it 4 bullets cause it isn't very accurate, but it's fun. Buy it up while it's cheep.

I've bought 1,000 rounds of this ammo and had only one jam! Everyone told me to stay away from the steel case ammo, but it's working fine for me. I shoot an AR-15, and it works fine!

Have purchase this ammo time and time again. great deal. Only experienced two problems out of 750 rounds. Century Arms AR-15. SemiAuto. Highly reccommend!

If you are a snob about your AR and feel that inexpensive ammo is crap...stop reading now. For the rest of the normal working class people reading this, you cannot beat this deal. 500 rounds of JHP ammo for under 100 bucks is unbeatable! I have shot over 1000 rds of this through 2 different ARs and tons of different mags with no issues. Very accurate for the price. It will get the job done...period!

Works just ok on semi auto, don't like full auto at all, lots of failures to load. Other ammo no problem. Few Fail To Eject also that required break down, rod insertion, and hitting the rod pretty hard. Bolt action 223 go for it, AR15 get something else.

I use the 7.62 version of this in my Russian AK & it runs flawlessly. Bought some for my DPMS M4... big mistake. Very 1st rnd had a FTE so tight I had to use a rod & a hammer to get it out. It's my assumption that ARs are just a bit more picky than AKs. Gonna try to shoot the almost 500 I have left, but won't buy again in .223 ( but will definately keep buying the 7.62 as I have had no issues after 2000 rnds). Would recommend Silver Bear or better yet Golden Bear if you want to use cheaper Soviet ammo (CTD has the best prices on SB too).

I shot all 500 rounds in one day out of my new Colt 6920 and had zero problems. I went cyclic for at least 4 30rd mags- good ammo for the price. One thing I will mention I bought some TulAmmo for my Ruger lcp .380 and it was garbage, at least 50% failures, but the .223 ran perfectly.

Hit an miss with my PLR. Feeding an ejecting pain in the butt,then used Federal brass casings not 1 problem. maybe just the kel tec is picky, on the other hand this ammo ran decent in my Colt AR15 out of 150 rounds 2 didnt feed correctly. Sticking with brass casings.

I just purchased to feed into my DPMS AR 15 m4. I shot around 150-170 rounds in my brand new rifle. I had 2 fail to ejects which required breaking the rifle down and pushing out with cleaning rod.It's cheap ammo. I'll shoot it all up but probably wont buy again.
