This stuff shoots great through my Stag Arms and my Bushmaster. I've never had any FTF or FTE issues with this ammo. That said, this stuff is smoky as hell and you'd better clean your rifle after you get through shooting.

Unfortunately, I've been having FTEs and FTLs with these rounds. It's unfortunate because I stocked up with 5K rounds of this. I have stock Colt AR-15s and keep them clean and adjusted. Same gun, same mags, same day, this TulAmmo pretty much fails every other round or so with FTEs/FTLs, whereas fresh brass, reload brass, or the old Bear lacquered steel fires full mags with zero FTEs or FTLs. Took a look at the spent cartridges. The case is nice and silky to the touch. The old Bear cases are lacquered steel and are also silky to the touch. The TulAmmo looks sort of like blued steel, with something I guess that is supposed to be lacquer (polymer), but not silky - more rough and grabby. Caveat emptor.

First, I would buy this again. However, make sure you bring an extra cleaning rod and some type of CLP to the range with you. My Rock River Operator has no issues with LC or "good" ammo, but has issues with TulAmmo. It will raise your skill level in dealing with FTFs and FTEs. Lastly, I do not agree with those who feel there is little need to clean your weapon. Maybe an AK can get away with "less" cleaning, but very few others can. Extra lube will help at the range with this ammo but you must invest the time to clean your weapon, as you know you should.

The steel cased stuff isn't the best, I think we all know that. This is a little dirtier. Once in a while, I got double feeds from the bullet jamming. My AR doesn't like the steel cased ammo. It still shoots it, but it doesn't like it. I would buy this stuff on a seriously tight budget. If you can afford to get better ammo, get better ammo.
