I was forced to buy this when I logged on to find that my regular Russian .223 Ulyanovsk was no longer available, and Brown Bear is hard to find nowadays...so I gave it a shot. It functioned just as good as the Remington...Federal and the last few boxes of .223 Ulyanovsk left over from my last order...no jams no ftf no fte... none of the horror stories of some of the other post..do yourself a favor and buy a few for your own experiences.

Shot this stuff though my mini-14 with Tapco 30 rd mags, fed perfectly and is just as accurate as other Russian made ammo.

As an update to my review below....I now have 1000+ rds of this through my M&P 15 and have yet to have a single issue. Every round goes bang! and a hole appears in the paper where I aim. Cleaning time is objective, but I can say that it takes me less time to clean this rifle as compared to my issue rifle in the Army. Once again, time to order more......

I bought 600 rds of this crap, got a really good deal on price and shipping was fast. Not good ammo, first five rounds was fine, after that had to hand load each one in my Colt AR-15, would not feed. Thought it might be the gun since I had ran 30 rds of Wolf through it before, so swaped to my wifes new never fired DPMS AR-15, same thing. Three rounds and back to hand feed. The steel cases are rusted when I got them, after spending 4 hours hand polishing each round, and oiling them tried them again, no go just fire and feed. Go ahead and spend the .30 cent more a box on the Silver Bear or Wolf ammo, this is not worth it. However does feed fine through my Rossi single shot, lol!

I see some people here who have reviewed this ammo as being junk, the same people saying this are using this ammo in their AR-15's that are solid garbage rifles and or non mil-spec. I have a BCM 1/7 twist AR-15 and have shot thousands of rounds of this ammo without issues. If this ammo jams up your rifle you have a poorly made rifle. This ammo is 100% good stuff!
