My Colt Sporter loves this ammo. I haven't had any kind of malfunction using it, BUT, my Bushmaster Carbon-15 hated this stuff...I could shoot one round then I would have to pull the charging handle and manually load another round...after about 10 times of doing that one of the rounds got jammed in the barrel and I could not get it out..I couldn't tell if the round was live or spent, so I took it to my gunsmith and he removed it for me. I have bought more of this for my Colt and will continue to shoot it unless Federal comes down to this price range, ULTIMATELY YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!

Bought 500 rounds, shot 200 rounds. RR carbine length gas system not powerful enough to cycle this ammo nor is a Bushmaster carbine gas system. At best you can fire off 2 rounds before you need to charge it again. Have used H1, H2, and H3 buffers to try to correct, and different springs with no luck. Buy at your own risk, have 300 rounds just sitting here that I will never use again.

To clear something up: rounds manufactured in the Tula and Ulyanovsk ammunition plants are now consolidated under the TulAmmo brand. While you can still find Wolf and Ulyanovsk-branded ammo many places...it is the same product. When someone tells you Wolf is crap and they prefer this brand or vice-versa it's not a valid statement: THEY ARE THE SAME PRODUCT. I gave this product 4/5 not because it is a great product but because it is a great value in my opinion. I have put hundreds of rounds of this ammo through my Stag Arms Model 2T and I have had fair accuracy (not great but good for the price). Out of the last 200 rounds I have had one ejection failure (extractor ripped the case rim off) but zero feed failures and zero fire failures. I would not hesitate to recommend this ammo to anyone looking to just rip off some rounds and have some fun or dial in a sight before breaking out the good stuff. Is it match grade or would I trust it for tactical missions and personal defense? No way. Is it great to have some fun with at low cost? ABSOLUTELY. Quality is not great, it's a bit dirty, it's a bit smelly, it's a bit inaccurate...but is A LOT CHEAP and a good value for what you get.

Ordered 100 rnds to try out. Ordered on Thursday and got via FedEx the very next morning! In your face UPS! They are pretty light loads compared to the 5.56 of course but I shot 40 rnds with no problems and they were accurate at 100yds. These are nice for plinking around and won't break the bank. I was forced to buy this when I logged on to find that my regular Russian .223 Ulyanovsk was no longer available, and Brown Bear is hard to find nowadays...so I gave it a shot. It functioned just as good as the Remington...Federal and the last few boxes of .223 Ulyanovsk left over from my last order...no jams no ftf no fte... none of the horror stories of some of the other post..do yourself a favor and buy a few for your own experiences.
