.22 Long Rifle, Aguila Super Colibri, 20 Grain Lead Round Nose Bullet, 500 Round Brick.

Aguila Super Colibri is super quiet ammo that does not contain gun powder but fires from the force of the primer only. Powerful and silent, great for use in urban areas. This is a 20 grain solid lead bullet in a brass case. Will break glass and penetrate hard tin cans. Velocity is 500 fps at the muzzle with 11 ft/lbs of energy and can be lethal. This ammo works great and is intended for .22 handguns only.

Will not cycle in semi auto guns. Non returnable item.

Not recommended for use in long barreled guns as the projectile may become lodged and be dangerous (lethal) if a regular cartridge is shot as a follow up.

Will not cycle in semi auto guns. Uses: Indoor training, pest control.

Non-returnable item. We will not accept any returns on this item.

I must say, these things are QUIET when shooting them out of a converted 16 inch Stag Arms 5.56 M4A2L! They hit hard (for not having any gunpowder) and are more quiet than my Gamo Big Cat .177 by FAR. I have a 6 inch frying pan (lol) out 175 feet from my back porch, and I hit it 7/10 times quite often. They are kinda dirty. They don't cycle, but who cares! I've shot over 1k with only one FTF.
1.0 Rating May cause gun damage - 9/21/2012Ammo .22 LR Aguila Super Colibri LRN 20 Grain 500 Box 500 fps No Powder Super Quiet1.0000

I shot several hundred rounds through my S&W Trail Master revolver, and the accuracy fell off drastically toward the end. What had happened, even after cleaning, was a build-up of a flint-like mass of material in the forcing cone, which deformed all rounds going through it. Normal cleaning would not budge it. The mess had to be removed with a steel graver (VERY carefully). I would not ever use these again, although I don't know if the problem is specific to revolvers.
4.0 Rating good for revolvers and single shot - 9/9/2012Ammo .22 LR Aguila Super Colibri LRN 20 Grain 500 Box 500 fps No Powder Super Quiet4.0000

Great for revolvers and single shot guns. Doesn't work in my wifes sig mosquito. Fairly quiet still wouldn't shoot in the suburbs.
5.0 Rating Less Noise than a pellet gun - 8/14/2012Ammo .22 LR Aguila Super Colibri LRN 20 Grain 500 Box 500 fps No Powder Super Quiet5.0000

I bought these rounds to plink quietly and safely. Fired from Ruger 10/22 and was not able to cycle and chamber properly. Fired from Henry Lever action...awesome! Quiet, flawless, and accurate at 50 meters. To put perspective on the noise, my Beaman pellet gun is louder than my .22 Henry when using these rounds. From 10 ft away, they will penetrate a quarter inch board and get lodged in a second board. Very fun, and highly recommended if you are looking for the quietest round.

I've been using the Super Colibri ammo for over a year now. I find that they are super quiet. They are deadly on squirrels out to 30 yards. No doubt further, if they were more accurate. The case seems to be a bit shorter than a standard long rifle case. This hurts accuracy. They also are very dirty burning. I am shooting them from a very accurate 24 inch barreled Mossberg Model 146B, and after chronographing them, I found they are much faster than advertised, coming out the barrel at 731 fps, instead of 500 fps. No doubt the 500 fps was for a handgun. This is the quietest ammo I've ever fired and close in, they are deadly for pest control.
