.22 Long Rifle, Aguila Super Colibri, 20 Grain Lead Round Nose Bullet, 500 Round Brick.

Aguila Super Colibri is super quiet ammo that does not contain gun powder but fires from the force of the primer only. Powerful and silent, great for use in urban areas. This is a 20 grain solid lead bullet in a brass case. Will break glass and penetrate hard tin cans. Velocity is 500 fps at the muzzle with 11 ft/lbs of energy and can be lethal. This ammo works great and is intended for .22 handguns only.

Will not cycle in semi auto guns. Non returnable item.

Not recommended for use in long barreled guns as the projectile may become lodged and be dangerous (lethal) if a regular cartridge is shot as a follow up.

Will not cycle in semi auto guns. Uses: Indoor training, pest control.

The warning does say they are not for use in long guns. I've fired these in a Ruger Single Six with a 10-inch barrel and got a report similar to a small firecracker. I then tried them in an old bolt-action rifle I inherited from my father. It's designed to fire shorts, long, and lr ammo. In the rifle, I'm still getting a decent foot-per-second speed, but the report is quieter than my pump-up pellet rifle.

Bought two bricks of this ammunition. First 150 rounds had 28 failures to fire. (Ruger 10-22) Tried the 28 rounds in a new Marlin 60 and the rounds would not fire. Close examination of rounds revealed the "dud" rounds had strikes consistent with the empties that did ignite the primer. Of course I may have got two bricks from a bad lot number, however with ammunition prices sky high and decreased supply makes this issue a very sore subject. Obviously not CTD fault.

The best ammo available for people who live near people. Won't pass through cedar fencing at 15 yards. I put a CCI Quiet round in my 10/22 magazine, then add 9 super colibri,cycle the action manually, and it works great; if you load ten super colibri, the 10th round jams in the magazine.

This is awesome stuff! You can do all kinds of cool shooting with it at a reasonable price. Please disregard any bad reviews from people that did not research what this ammo is for before they bought it.

Before purchasing, I read all the reviews and watched all the videos on Youtube. Like they all say, it's a dirty round; however, if you know how to clean your gun before it gets built-up, it's nothing to get excited over. Surprisingly loud out of my revolver, but incredibly silent out of my Henry H001 rifle. It's good for sniping pest varmints in the backyard without waking the neighbors. It's made my Crossman pellet rifle obsolete. I love it!
