I am a big fan of BVAC .40S&W Reloads & .357Mag Ammo. Great stuff, so when I needed some .22LR ammo, I thought I'd try out BVAC .22LR. In my ISSC M-22 pistol, the ammo had 6 FTE due to underpowered cartridges, had 5 FTFeed and 2 FTFire out of 30 rounds (3 mags). I know that the M-22 is finiky as to the ammo it will digest, so I tried 30 rounds through my Ruger Std .22LR (Mark I) which will fire and eject even sub-sonic CB-Cap .22's. Same problems of dirty powder residue (like you are shooting Black Powder, only dirtier), 8 FTEjects, 4 FTFire, 4 FTFeed. I spent more time clearing pistol malfunctions than I did shooting! I bought the brick, so I guess I'll just have to use them in a single shot rifle. Sorry BVAC, your .22LR Ammo really sucks!

I bought this because it was reasonably priced and I needed a lot of ammo for an Appleseed shoot. I shot 400 rounds with 12 misfires, 1 hangfire, 5 FTF and 3 FTE. Super dirty, the chamber on my 10/22 looked like someone coated it with black charcoal dust. I guess I'll stick to CCI or Federal.

I bought a brick to try in my S&W 317. Dirt gets into the cylinder after only a few rounds. Rounds fail to seat and cylinder jams. Not fun to fix every few loads; and tough to clean the gun afterwards. I'll use the rest in another gun.
