Allows you to attach a Vltor Modstock to your AK-47, enhancing its tactical capabilities and includes a five-position extension with a water-tight storage tube and three spacers to fit your model AK. Will also fit other Mil-Spec collapsible stocks. Will fit sheet metal AKM variants only, except the Yugo or the Iraqi Tabuk. The Adapter/extension has a MilSpec outer profile and will only accept Colt or Vltor dimensioned buttstocks.

Will not fit milled variants of the AK-47.

It's a quality piece that, if you're looking to put a colapsable stock on an AK, you should purchase. I know it can seem like a lot of money for such a simple thing, but when it comes down to it you want something solid to put into your shoulder—something less prone to breaking. All other stocks out there are typically polymer (plastic), not something you want in those very important parts of your end-of-the-world rifle. Fits my stamped Romanian AK WASR-10/63.

High end product, well thought-out. Attaches securely and beats the plastic, cheaper competitors by a mile. The plastic spacers to fit different receiver configuration are nothing more than dust covers to keep debris out of the receiver. They work fine. They do not provide any support. I especially like the two(opposite sides)Quick Detach sling swivel receivers at the front. Unfortunately the unit does not come with a QD swivel, so be prepared to go elsewhere to get one. I found the rear edge of my reciever that was formerly covered by the stock had sharp edges and corners, now exposed. I used my Dremel to round them to reduce the chance of getting straps, gear or flesh hung up.

solid product! Very well built, no issues on installing it. It took longer to take the wood stock off. Really leveled it out. Way better cheeckweld then the wooden one. Now i can put alot better slings with the adaptor.

CTR had this item in my hands fast, just a couple days. This adapter works great and is very sturdy. Cheaper then buying the parts individualy. I recomend this adapter to anyone wanting to add a mil-spec stock to their Ak47.

Very nice stock. It fits great on my Arsenal Saiga. Vtor has a good design. The only thing I don't like are the plastic spacers for the different AK trunions. I think that they should be made from aluminum like the tube instead of cheap plastic.
