I installed this on my Saiga 7.62 with no gunsmithing required. Gave it a heavy and tactical feel. If there was a 10 bullet rating, it would get it for sure.

Got this puppy in 3 days (thank you Cheaper Than Dirt). Zero complaints so far. Went on without any problems. Yeah, it makes it a bit heavy, but don't be a child and complain. It tells you how much it weighs so hit the gym, son. Makes my AK look even more so like the bringer of death to small animals. Great product. Big 5 bullets. I ordered this for my Saiga 7.62x39 rifle and it went on without a hitch. It's just a compression fit around the gas tube and barrel. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it hasn't let me down yet. I've put almost 200 rounds through my rifle with it installed and it's still tight and my red dot hasn't lost zero. It's made of aluminum and is very strong. I have a CAA vertical grip on it and it doesn't shake around at all. It makes a great addition to the Saiga AK.

I don't know what people are talking about in regards to grinding. This rail system went on without a single problem. No grinding whatsoever. Mounts perfectly. I have a Surefire tactical light and a foregrip on this thing. I have put 300+ rounds through the rifle and the Allen screws haven't loosened up one bit. I used LocTite. DEFINITELY BUY THIS!!

I wont lie but this rail is very nice for the money, but I should of read up before I bought it to put on my Saiga AK-47. I had to do some serous grinding and smithing to get this thing on.
