Modeled after popular AK designs, these screw-on compensators are designed to easily attach to standard AK barrels equipped with 14x1LH threads. The classic designs reduce recoil and muzzle rise during firing. Finished in Black phosphate and stamped "TAPCO USA". Each muzzle brake counts as one U.S. Sec 922r compliant part. Item weight: 1.6 ounces.

Doesn't reduce recoil but will control muzzle flash, and even muzzle rise if indexed correctly so the top will vent more gas.

Very easily installed on my WASR GP 10/63. Remember: with this break, it's LEFTY TIGHTY and RIGHTY LOOSY, unlike the standard threads. Helps dampen recoil compared to the thread protector that came stock on my rifle. Also redirects more sound towards the shooter, so bring plugs!

It wasn't my first choice, but CTD was sold out of the one I wanted. Settled for this one, and turns out, it's a nice muzzle brake after all. Reduces the flash more than it does the recoil, but it looks great on my gun (WASR-10), that's why it still gets 4 bullets in my book. Doesn't screw down enough to catch the last pin, but if you know anything about anything, you should be able to get it to work no problem.
