This 3rd generation mount attaches to side-rail-equipped AK-47, and features two Picatinny mounts for scopes and accessories, imported. Fastens securely with three allen screws to eliminate any wobble. Allows for use with original iron sights on most rifles that have the side rail mounted high enough on the receiver. Side rail measures 3.5" long, 8 slots, STANAG top rail measures 5.25" long, 12 slots.

It looks great, install easy, but it is too close to the dust cover...there is nothing wrong with the piece....its nice but not located in the best place. which is why I'm buying a different one.

I put this piece on my WASR-10 with no problems, and put about 400 rounds through the rifle with it on, then while loading it back into it's case I noticed that one of the screws had worked it's way out and is now lost. I had those things tight! The Rifle looks better without it anyway.

Arrived in timely manner. Easy mounting. Not able to use iron sights once mounted. Color matches my saiga perfectly. I had to grind down the corner to get enough clearance so that my Strikefroce collapsible stalk could lock into place when collapsed. Easy fix with a dermal tool. All around a great buy!

I just put one of these on my wasr-10. The only thing I don't like is that you cannot use iron sights with it on. (That's why I also go a quick release red dot sight) but it's ok. It is a very sturdy mount and looks like it will hold up to a heavy beating. I recommend that everyone should have one of these if they want to have a good solid mount for any optics.

Well made, can't use my rifle sites but easy to take off if need be without zeroing the scope again. Makes me like my saiga 223 even more
