Bought one of these for my Mini 14. Mounted it to the left side with the lazer swung down with just a little space between it and the stock to get it closer in line with the barrel. Both laser and light beams easily clear the front 40mm optics. Laser center very quick and easy. Both working great so far. Remains to be seen how many shocks they will take. Mounting does not interfere with the sights on my see-thru scope rings.
