Specifications and Features:
This hand guard is a 2 piece design with upper and lower heat shields for maximum cooling.
Designed and engineered to accommodate gas piston or direct gas impingement systems.
For carbine-length AR15/M16 Rifles
Purpose built ergonomic hand grip area with hand stop and heavy texture.
Proprietary formula of heat stabilized nylon reinforced with high strength fibers.
50% the weight of aluminum hand guards
Modular design will accommodate after market rail systems for a truly customized weapon system

The LTF Hand Guard has the exact same specs as the MOD1 excluding the top rail. There is no rail section on the top of the LTF Hand Guard. This allowed for a decrease in weight. This also allowed for forward mounting of scopes and sights on the receiver with no interference.
