The Remington magazine extension tube adds rounds to your (12) gauge 870, 1100 & 11-87 shotgun. The extension replaces the magazine end cap and requires no permanent modification. The kit includes extension tube, magazine spring and barrel clamp. Manufactured from anodized aluminum, black oxide and epoxy coated carbon steel.

I bought this extension for my 870 with a 18.5" barrel. This extension holds three rounds, not two. It is a good three round extension, but it gets 3 bullets because I didn't want a three round extension. It sticks out past the end of my barrel. For this extension, you need at least a 20" barrel.
