The price was right but the quality is not there. I got them because I like mags with a window and the price was right. Not to mention they were in stock. I got them in and right away I could see the quality is not great, but I figured what the heck. Tried to put it in my WASR 10 and it did not fit. No biggie. I know sometimes you have to file down a little more of the ruff edges in the single stack to double stack expansion area. I had to file down a lot to get them in. I did it anyway and they now fit but the metal on the gun still eats these plastic mags up. They will not last long with regular wear and tear. Need to be made from a more durable polymer.

I bought a few of these mags, only because it's hard to find any clear AK magazines anymore. The ProMag name is not the best when it comes to quality. Tapco's plastic mags are much better quality and reliable when it comes down to it. As for function, all of them shot great with no problems. Even on bump fire, they all fed great. My only problem with them is the front notch on the plastic is a little thin, so when loading these magazines with the LULA loader for the AK, it tends to fall off or not stay on. As for in my AK, they never fell out and held strong. Just a thought: I probably wouldn't rely on these for life saving, but for the range and such, these are great.
