I bought this stock for my Howa 1500 .25-06. It fits great, dropped right in. I did have to take a dremel tool to the barrel channel and remove a little material to allow the barrel to float, but it was no big deal. I love the feel of the overmolded rubber, it really gives you a better "hold" compared to other synthetics. The aluminum bedding block is worth the extra money. It adds alot of rigidity to the stock and makes for a better action to stock fit. Has a good recoil pad as well. This stock is every bit as good as the Bell & Carlson Medalist for a good $75 cheaper.
