Anyone who owns a J-Frame knows the factory grips are good for concealment, but aren't very comfortable to shoot @ the range. These grips allow me to get a full purchase on them and the extra insulation on the backstrap helps a great deal for felt recoil. They are only about a quarter inch longer than the factory boot grip on my 442, Airweight, so concealment isn't compromised. If you want your J-Frame to shoot as well as a full size revolver I highly suggest buying these for your first upgrade.
