7.62 x 39 Spitzer SP-Soft Point Diameter: .310" Weight: 123 Grains Ballistic Coefficient: 0.292 Box Count: 100 Hot-Cor Construction Nearly 40 years ago, Speer developed a process to improve rifle bullet integrity and called it Hot-Cor. Hot-Cor means that the lead core is poured into the jacket while molten. This virtually eliminates the core slippage so common to bullets assembled with a cold lead slug. Speer uses the Hot-Cor process today on all of their flat-base big game bullets. It makes a great bullet, with the penetration and expansion needed for larger game. Available in a variety of nose profiles in calibers from 24 (6mm) to 458. Note: These are component bullets, not loaded ammunition.
