I bought these for my new Rock Island Tactical, because I had them on a Springfield Armory GI that I carried years ago. The only difference is, as I remember the finger grooves used to be made from real rubber and these are more like silicon. Much more comfortable than I remember, and prettier too! The rose wood has a very dark grain to it, almost black. very striking against the red wood. Try these! You won't be sorry! American Legend says it all!
