If you carry a railed Taurus 1911, take a look at the iTac Defense Retention Roto Paddle Holster. This Holster is made from a high tech polymer that is extremely durable and features iTac's patented retention system. This retention system has a zero time to disengage feature because you release your pistol as part of your natural draw stroke by depressing the lever on the side with your trigger finger. The "Roto" portion of the holster refers to the fact that it can rotate 360 degrees for a variety of carry options including different cants, cross draw, small of back carry, etc.
