Unfortunately a Bore Snake VIPER is not yet available in .40 so I bought a this Bore Snake (older version). I does a great job quickly using FrogLube CLP paste. I also used a Bore Snake VIPER on my .45 today. Bore Snake Viper is better than the this regular Bore Snake. The VIPER has more brass "scrubbers" and an end section to add a little oil, etc. Faster and cleaner bore in just a couple of minutes rather than spending 30 mins with patches, brushes, etc. Bore Snakes can't be beat but I do prefer the Bore Snake VIPER.
