When fitted with a Hogue OverMolded stock, your Mini 14/30 will exhibit superior handling characteristics over that of the original stock. Hogue developed the perfect stock by considering what the knowledgeable shooter needs from their Ruger Carbine. The length-of-pull has been extended to 13 5/8" for improved feel and sight picture and the fuller fore-end shape was designed for a more secure and comfortable hold. A gentle ½" drop at heel facilitates fast easy mounting and sight acquisition.

Keeping with the spirit that makes the Mini a great field carbine the stock is carefully styled with smooth pleasing lines and Hogue's Cobblestone texture effectively aids grip in a vast range of environmental conditions. Lastly, the butt is fitted with a moderately soft recoil pad perfectly suited for the recoil of .223 or 7.62 x 39 cal. ammunition. Of course, the standard Ruger barreled action will easily drop-in for a secure, tight fit.

Fits Ruger Mini-14, 30 & Ranch rifles with serial numbers 181 & higher.

The stock fit the rifle OK, but I think Hogue could do better on the details. The hand guard in my opinion should be able to fit right out of the box. Sure the action and trigger assembly snapped right in,but the action would not work without trimming with a rotozip to clear excess rubber and Hogue overlooked the attachment of the hand guard all the way around.Without the hand guard on top the rifle looks like junk, I epoxied the points necessary to attach the handguard and I hope it stays together.If this is top quality Hogue products I wont be buying any more. If I knew this before I ordered it, I would have built my own!!!!!

This is a very good stock. It fit fine (180) and feels great. I like the fact that it adds a bit of length to the pull. CTD was great again and the best price.

This stock lived up to all the talk. It’s the sturdiest mini 14 stock I’ve seen and it makes my mini look less like a bb gun and more like a serious firearm. It sits a little short at the forend which is fine because it almost free floats the barrel and I was going to try to do that anyway

OK I have an OD green one and a Black on one for a tactical mini 14 and the balck for a 6.8 SPC Both fit perfectly my serial numbers are 580 and 581 starting. I have gone from a 3 inch group at 200 with scope to a 1 inch with both rifles. Quit bashing these if they don't fit just make sure you have above a 181 starting number. These are good products.

I like the feel a lot but it did require some minor fitting where the heat shield snaps into the stock. Just had to shave off a tiny bit. All in all I'm pleased with it.
