Hornady Custom handgun ammunition is loaded witht he utmost care for reliability, and stopping power. All Hornady Custom pistol ammo is loaded with either the famous Hornady XTP (Extreme Terminal Performance) bullet, our FMJ or our new FTX bullet. All are supremely accurate, and deliver maximum knockdown power. Hornady produces most of the brass for Hornady Custom pistol ammo. All other brass is chosen to ensure it meets our unusually high standards for reliable feeding, corrosion resistance, proper hardness and the ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures. Each cartridge is loaded to ensure optimal pressure, velocity and consistency from lot to lot. Like the powder, each primer is carefully matched to individual loads, and specifically selected for their ability to quickly, completely, and reliably ignite the powder charge.

This is a great hard hitting round, very accurate, clean, and actually not that expensive. I have used both the 250 & 300 grain with success. I like the 300 for 30 yds and closer and the 250 for anything over 30 yds it's a bit faster and flatter.

This is good stuff. This is a slamming round. It will drop a wild hog in it's tracks. Oh also if you go to the range to shoot at the metal targets don't with this stuff unless you want holes in it. Yeah I put 5 big holes in a target 50yds away with my raging bull.

Just ask the oinkers that wound up on the wrong end of this bada** ammo and they'll tell you. The 300 grain bullet dropped a 310 lb feral hog like he'd been hit by lightning. A couple of smaller sows went out the same way. Excellent accuracy, devastating knockdown power and great pricing makes this a great buy. Kicks hard even in my 460 XVR 8 inch, so hold on tight.
