I thought I should update my review of these after hunting with them. Three shots, three deer down. Dropped every one of them right where they were standing. They were all moving when shot so the placement wasn't even perfect on them. Shots were between 75 and 225 yards. The killing power of these rounds is amazing.

These are awesome hunting rounds, extremely accurate with all my shots touching at 200 yards (furthest I tested so far). Not as flat shooting as the Hornady match rounds but will definately get the job done killing game.

Id like to thank everyone that writes reviews it makes it alot easier to pick an ammo with everyones views on the ammo thats why i am posting on all the ammos i use today. i went to the local store and bought a box of this fired it and fell in love Hornady seems determined not to fail with its various ammo lines i haven't found one i don't like and keep in stock will be ordering 5 boxes.

I primarily hunt with a Springfield M1A1 National Match. The Hornady 150Gr SST is absolutely the best whitetail round I have found! The bullet expansion is impressive. I harvested an 7x7 bull elk with one round of the 180 gr at 525m. One shot one kill. I also use the 150 gr SST in my Browning A bolt. What a confidence builder when I can achieve less than a 1" group at 200m! The Hornady rounds are so exact. Much less cost than the .168 gr Black Hills Match I have been shooting.

I am trying to sight in my Remington 700 308 and have been shooting all different types of ammo and weights. I have found that this shoots better through my rifle better then the Rem. match ammo. I put three groups at 100 yrd one inch spread. i am buying more as soon as i can.
