You get what you pay for here. I'm considering the cost in this review, and for the price, I think 4 bullets is applicable. The light is activated by the "pocket clip," and it comes with a plastic sleeve that can be used to lock it on or prevent it from being pressed. The "fiber optic" / plastic tube can be removed to give you a simple flashlight. Could it be brighter? Yes. Could it be made more solid? Yes. Would it cost more? Yes.

Only good part on the pen light is the angled plastic and the boot. The pen light itself is super cheap made from cardboard and foil.

Cheap Junk. This is the kind of product that stores should give away with a minimum purchase of $10. It can't cost the store more than 50 cents.

Worked fine for me it is cheap i hope it last but works great so far.It is a little tight on my .22 cal barrel,But gives off plenty of light.

Make no mistake this is a cheap bore light, But the pen light worked when batteries were added. Good light (not to bright so you get blinded when inspecting the bore) for both long and short barrels. What I like most is that the light tube has a rubber adapter that is easily separated from the pen light and can be put on another pen light if and when this one goes out.

do not buy this i bought 2 neither of them would even turn on this is why i gave it that rating but if your a rocket scientist and think you can make it work buy it and right your own review it might work quite well if you can get them on
