I was not into the little ammo until I got my S&W. Wow, what a gun?! It's a very good and active bullet. Never had a misfire or any problems at all with this ammo. I now buy only Hornady ammo, and for my other guns. This is the best. You can't go wrong with it. Deer, bear, whatever it may be, this is a good and strong one.

I use this ammo in my ruger super redhawk as a backup when bear hunting. ammo has good accuracy and superb penetration. This ammo truly turns the 44 mag into a cannon with greater recoil and noise. If the 44 mag with lighter loads are tough for you to shoot then this may not be for you. recoil is substantial and not for inexperienced shooters. I think this load brings near 454 performance and is not recommended for old or cheap 44 mags and certain brands/models due to firearm damage failure.
