I purchased this one piece unit about five years ago mainly to save the original wood S&W grips on my 30+ year old 4" 13K M&P. This grip was simple to install. I noticed that the gun gripped higher in my hand while absorbing a lot more recoil than the original wooden stock grips when running full power .357 mag. loads. The stippled rubber supplies a non-slip grip profile. For the money you just can't beat this item for your square butt K frame Smith & Wesson.
