4.0 Rating nice CZ clone - 11/18/2012
Reviewer: laddog
Ordered the TriStar C-100 Nov 4th. Somehow, the order got messed up, but after e-mailing CTD, they came through with flying colors. Not only did they apologize, but refunded my shipping. So, about the gun. LOVE IT! It is basically a CZ compact clone in .380, made in Turkey. Not many reviews online, but all of them were good. It shoots really tight groups, even for me. I can put five shots in a quarter size area. Two negatives you need to be aware of: the manufacturer did not finish the feed ramp polishing, causing FTFs (may just be my gun), got a gunsmith to polish the feed ramp, which took care of the FTFs; also, the mags are really 9mm mags with a plate added so you really have to make sure the rounds are pushed all the way back when loading the mag. Once I got the two minor things done, the C-100 is a very nice medium carry gun.
