I'm using this as a sling mount instead of a bipod mount. It slides on the rail nicely and firmly locks into place. It seems to be built well enough to withstand regular use. I do have two minor complaints. The most important one is that the hole wasn't properly drilled on the stud. My sling post didn't go all the way through the hole. I used a 9/64 drill bit (which fit perfectly) to finish it off. I only had to drill for 1/2 a second to finish the job. The second is that, since it isn't rounded, the stud doesn't act as a swivel stud. My sling mount points directly down at all times. Those two combined knocked it down by one bullet.
