Yes, like most ak's, there is some roughness. Everything moved smoothly and easily. Very well coated in oil.

3.0 Rating fury shotgun - 3/1/2014

Cheap stock it will need to be upgraded. Disassembly is easy compared to the mka RAAF 1919. Clips are questionable. Overall I am happy with this piece for the price.

3.0 Rating Not good for your first AK - 6/7/2014
Reviewer: Panxer
Mechanically speaking, it's a beast. The firing mechanisms and ergonomics of this systems are very smooth and comfortable right out of the box. The detractors are that the magazines are difficult to load in the mag and gun (unless you do it Juuuuuust right) and it'll take some practice to make that work every time. If you don't do it exactly right, the last round will not cycle out of the mag. The Magazine well is difficult to join with the magazine (even for an AK clone). I don't have this problem with my Saiga. I can see why the Fury 2 has a totally redesigned magazine system, and magazines. (you may want to consider the F2) As of now there are zero places I can find 10 rd stick mags or drums that are compatible with this system, and from what I've read, any modifications you want to do with it will be done through a gunsmith because some of the pins are permanently in place. Not bad. Not great. will be good once I can get the mags to go in smoothly and I can replace the butt stock and the front furniture. Good luck.
