When John Moses Browning started making firearms in 1869 he never could have imagined that his legacy would continue to 2013 (and beyond). Since the beginning, Browning has been designing and manufacturing firearms used by our Military, Law Enforcement, Hunters, Competitors and recreational shooters in every imaginable environment possible. Browning Citori and BPS Shotguns, X-Bolt and BAR Rifles, T-Bolt and Buck Mark Rimfires, 1911's and Hi-Power Pistols have earned their rightful place in the hands of shooters. Browning has an outstanding history that they continue to build on with each and every Browning firearm. After all Browning is an American Legacy!

Rugged and rowdy, right down to its very core, the BLR Lightweight '81 Stainless is ready to take on the toughest hunting conditions you (and Mother Nature) can dish out. The satin finish on the laminated gray hardwood stock, the satin-nickel finish on the receiver and the matte finish on the stainless barrel mean no reflections will spook your trophy buck. The TRUGLO/Marbles fiber-optic front sight lets you draw a fine bead in low light conditions. This is what a serious lever-action hunting rifle should be, and what every other lever-action wishes it was.
