The all-new Quantum Optical System™, featuring lead-free, precision
ground and polished lenses, coated with Leupold’s exclusive Multicoat 4 lens coatings, provides unbeatable resolution, clarity, and contrast— with light transmission of up to 92%. The VX-1 lens system delivers dependable target acquisition in any light conditions—including dawn, dusk, or bad weather.
Leupold also improved the mechanical function of the VX-1,
installing finger-adjustable, 1/4-MOA click windage and elevation
adjustments, that allow quick and easy zeroing and easy
adjustment in the field. The power selector ring incorporates a
tactile indicator, making it easy to grasp and turn, even while
wearing gloves. A fast-focus eyepiece with a low-profile lock ring
makes reticle focus easy to achieve and maintain, and a gold-plated
Leupold medallion adds a tasteful flair to the exterior design.
