Quality construction out of box. Good design for a basic AR. But be warned. If you have optics mounted and front rail acc. Your AR will not fit. I have compM4 red dot mounted, front rail surefire G2 and it's a very snug fit. I had to insert rifle upside down in order for it to fit. This throws off the balance and it's hard to shoulder carry the pack and carry with handle. The case tips handle down with this set up so you must strap it in securely or the rifle will fall out. Not sure I will keep this.. But like I said, it seems quality built and would be good for a bare AR with no acc's mounted..
