All I have to say is that it's awesome! Took me a while to buy one, due to reviews, but this one is the best full tang. No fiberglass bull and just plain damn tough.

Overall, impressed with this Tomahawk. I wanted a hatchet/tomahawk with a spike on it, a handle that would not break, and it had to have some weight to it. After searching and comparing, the S&W was the winner. Thick 1070 stock and nice weight for chopping (the balance point is at the top of the handle scales). It performed well when I tried it on a seasoned 4" thick downed tree branch. The handles do have some grippiness to them (reminds me of hard rubber). Not sure how the grip would feel if my hands were sweaty. I use mechanics gloves, which I keep in my knife bag, to help with grip. Very sharp out of the box (both blade and spike). No regrets here.

I ordered this at noon on Wed. It was delivered at 2:00 Thursday! This thing is sharp and keeps its edge. It's sturdy and has a good weight to it. The nylon sheath isn't great. That was the only thing that didn't seem to be top quality. I'd take this over the SOG version any day!

I bought this and was surprised when it was delivered in 2-3 days. It's a nice tomahawk. It's quite heavy, but nice and strong.

This Item is awesome, bought it 1 week ago and I just now was able to try it, chopping a small tree on my property. The blade stayed sharp after I was done and that is awesome I had a small cheap tomahawk and everytime I used it, I had to keep it sharp.So the S&W EE. is a great find. There is a weight to it though about 2.5 pounds give or take. I don't mind the weight. This is a full tang tomahawk. throwing is not imposibl,is difficult but it can be done with some dedicated practice. The only thing I dislike is the sheath is a cheap nylon product but, it does the job to secure it.
