Just got it and put it on my 870. It did take some dremel work to remove the detents inside the mag tube of the weapon but I knew ahead of time I would have to do that. So once that was done, the install took all of 10 minutes. I loaded it up, no problems and cycled all the rounds through with no problems several times so I am confident it will work fine. Good buy, just know for the Remington 870 you will have to remove the detents inside the mag tube of the gun.
