Like the other person, other than the dimples, which took me over an hour, I have no complaints about this item. I purchased mine last year and have had no problems w/misfeeds. However, to remove dimples, do your research. I used sockets to do the initial "removing" then filed them down. The barrel must be baby butt smooth or you will get hangups. Good Luck!

I opened the outer box to reveal the package containing the mag extension. The first thing I noticed was the tape was cut on box the extension came in. I pulled out the contents and began to do inventory on parts. Sure enough, the swivel assembly and screw were missing. Other than that, the piece looked great. This is my first problem with CTD. I gave this a three because, other than the missing pieces, the mag extension is quality made and would probably work very well if all the parts were there. UPDATE: I sent the opened package back to CTD and in no time at all, they shipped out a new one, no questions asked. The extension itself is a good, quality piece and fit my 18" barrel perfectly. The spring is strong and is rock solid once mounted. Definitely worth it! Five bullets to the extension and to CTD for their customer service.

I ordered this item for my Remington 870 Express Magnum in order to turn it into a HD Shotgun. This item functioned perfectly! It is factory made by Remington, and the fit and finish look great. this product comes with everything you need to attach to your standard 870 tube. The only downside is that newer 870's have dimples in the original 4 shot tube that need to be filed down for this product to work, but it only took 15 min. to fix that problem with the proper file. Overall i am very happy with this product! And shipping was very quick as always.
